Founding Artist of The SHAC, Ric Abel is an established oil painter whose work explores the viscosity of paint and life.
An artist and former restauranteur, Ric ran "Bohemian-vibed" restaurants in Manly and Crows Next and is now based full time in Robertson.
Ric was a finalist in the 2013 Blake Prize as wel as a finalist in the Archibald's Salon de Rufusés.
He is represented by Maunsell Wickes after being recommended to the distinguished Paddington gallery by John Olsen.
