ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
RIC ABEL: A finalist in the Blake Art Prize and the Archibald’s Salon des Refusés, Ric Abel travels through landscapes, skulls and quasi-cubist subjects. His art is introspective and exploratory, humorous and dark.
BRONWYN BERMAN: Dr. Bronwyn Berman is a multi-disciplinary artist whose works have appeared in exhibitions and public spaces around Australia and internationally. Her wide-ranging output includes sculpture, jewellery, public art, drawing and landscape installation.
LILY CUMMINS: Lily Cummins is a tactile artist whose practice explores both her-self, her memories and the emotive bonds and attachments people develop to place. Cummins graduated from the National Art School in 2017 with a Masters of Fine Arts, and has exhibited in Australia and overseas.
CAT DOYLE: British-Australian artist Cat Doyle explores themes of loneliness and belonging with a particular interest in counterculture and literary circles. A Gateshead lass from North-east England, she now lives and works in the Southern Highlands NSW.
MARIA GORTON: Maria is a painter living and working on Gundungurra Land in the village of Robertson. Through her mediation practice and intuitive approach, she is attempting to create a response to the mysterious beauty of the eternal unseen. Maria has obtained a Bachelor of Fine Art, National Art School; a Master of Visual Arts and a Master of Studio Arts (Honours) at The University of Sydney.
LUCINDA MCDONALD: England Born Artist Lucinda McDonald's abstract, experimental paintings and sculptures continually strive to create balanced
compositions, through the systematic, playful approach she takes with colour, line and shape.
JUSTIN PEARSON: Justin Pearson has been exhibiting his distinctive style of painting since the 1980's. Based in the Southern Highlands, Pearson has exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and overseas in London, Christchurch NZ, and Belgrade, Serbia.
JIMMY RIX: Award winning sculptor Jimmy Rix is best known for his narrative-based works which draw upon his encounters with animals in the Australian countryside.
MEGAN SERES: Megan Seres is a multi-award winning Australian artist who completed a Fine Arts degree with 1st Class honours at Sydney's National Art School, and won the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize in 2016.
